If you are a fan of Wawa Dam and tired or bored going back there again and again, This is the perfect next destination for you.
The Blue Rock Lagoon is located in Sitio Lukutan, Malaki Brgy. San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal.
The Blue lagoon has cold and clean water that comes from the distant mountains of Rodriguez, Rizal. Therefore, many come here to bathe even though it is in the middle of the Rodriguez mountain forest.
Starting in the Ultramega San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal there is a 30 mins drive road leading to this beautiful lagoon. But if you doesn't have a car or motorcycle, you can ride a tricycle costing 50-75 pesos per head depends on how many will ride the tricycle. After the ride, you will be facing the entrance of the blue rock lagoon which you will pay 15 pesos as an entrance and enviromental fee and if you are looking for a cottage you can rent one for 150 pesos.
Blue rock lagoon also offers camping tent for campers and overnight rental house for tourists who wants to stay overnight. The Rental house cost around 1,500 pesos. It has electric and water, but bring extra money for other activities or rental items if doesn't bring one.
If you are planning to go here, be mindful of the slippery rocks, and bring your own garbage bag.
The Blue Rock Lagoon also has a mini water falls perfect for picture taking.
How to get here:
Litex route:
- Ride a jeep or mini bus for 45 minutes at Litex Wet and Dry Market going to San Isidro Rizal (Ultramega).
- From San Isidro terminal(Ultramega) ride a trike going to Blue Rock Lagoon which costs 75-50 pesos each.
Cubao route:
- Take UV express, jeep or mini bus from Cubao to Eastwood, Rodriguez, Rizal
- From Rodriguez, Rizal ride a tricycle going to San Isidro Ultramega.
- From ultramega, ride a tricycle going to Blue Rock Lagoon.
