Rodriguez and the whole province of Rizal is known as a top destination for hiking in the Philippines. It's perfect for hikers of all levels, thanks to a multitude of mountains that are found here. Two of the best peaks in this province are the two limestone mountains called Mt. Pamitinan and Mt. Binicayan. Both peaks have their own designated hiking trails that lead up to their respective summits. Since the two paths involve climbing past rough limestone rocks, it is best to bring gloves to help you get a better grip on them. Once you reach the summit of either mountain, you will be rewarded with a gorgeous, panoramic view of the vibrant forestry lining the Marikina River and the neighboring mountains. The best time to go on hiking tours to these peaks is in the early morning, so you can also sit back and enjoy the sunrise from more than 423 meters above sea level.  MT. Pamitinan Mt.        Puray Falls: The Hidden Paradise of Rodriguez, Rizal If You are a certified traveler, nature lover and is looking for a place to swim and take a picture, This is what you're looking for. This is the Puray Falls, the hidden paradise of Rodriguez, Rizal. Puray is one of the most isolated barangay of Rodriguez (formerly Montalban) in the province of Rizal. When "Montalban" is mentioned, one familiar with the town would most certainly associated it with Wawa, the scenic river (in barangay San Rafael) dotted with huge white stones . Wawa is very accessible, there are jeepneys plying the major routes from Quezon City to Wawa while Puray, to most, exist only in the tales of mountain bikers. Puray is already in the Sierra Madre mountain ranges, several mountains away from the town center. Its hard to believe there is even a flourishing community there - basically a small farming community, no electricity, no running water. But what Puray lacks in modern amnesties it makes
