                Wawa Dam: The Pride of Rodriguez, Rizal Are you looking for a place where you can relax, take pictures and even enjoy the wonders of the nature all at once? There is a place here at Rodriguez, Rizal called "Wawa Dam" which is approximately one and half hour drive from Metro Manila. Wawa Dam was built in 1909 during the  American colonial era  to provide the water needs for  Manila . It  used to the only water source for Metro Manila until Angat Dam was built, it was abandoned since 1968. Until now there is a plan to reuse the dam, due to insufficient water supply in Metro Manila.
